New Cozies in the Shop!

I went fabric shopping last week, and my shop shows it!

These new cozies are now available

Make sure to hurry on over ...
I only bought enough fabric to make a handful of each!

This one might be my favorite ...
The yellow makes me very happy.

PS - I'm testing out larger photos on the blog. What do you think?

All Packaged Up ...

One of the golf pros at the Club asked me to make 26 belts for a ladies tournament they were having, and I was happy to help! The theme was black & white. So, I made reversible fashion belts with black & white patchwork fabrics on one side and black & white polka dots on the other side. I like how they came out, with a natural bamboo buckle that can be removed for washing.

I rolled each of them up ...

... and tied them with a tag

Now that they are all done, I can start with some other big projects ...
... like making more belts to possibly sell in the Golf Shop.

I Finally Found A Way To Justify My Love For Brownies!

For those of you who know me personally,
it will come as no surprise that I LOVE brownies.
I could eat them all day long and not get sick of them.
Especially the corner pieces.

By the way ... did you know that they make a pan like this for us edge-lovers??
I might need one of those in my kitchen.

Anyway ... this week I found a way to justify my love for brownies...

See this brownie box?
Well, I no longer look at it as just a brownie box.

It's now my new way of shipping out orders!
That's right ... I just turn it inside out and tape it up really well,
and then stuff it with all sorts of fun gifties.
It's the perfect size for a pair of baby shoes or a reusable shopping bag!
This particular package is on its way to my friend Christina for her new baby girl.
The pink & green shoes seemed a perfect gift for her new little feet.

I wish I could ship it out like this,
with the tissue paper coming out of the top
The red & white polka dots make me very happy.

I'd better go ...
I need to make more brownies
so that I'll have enough boxes to ship things out in!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

I might be a freak.
It's true.

I'm one of those people who like to be ready EARLY for Christmas.
I try to plan ahead so that I won't be stressed out when December rolls around.
The holidays are stressful enough as it is, without having the added pressure of coming up with and finishing gifts for loved ones, right?

SO ...
... in the spirit of being prepared ...
I've been working on some Christmas gifts recently!

Here's a sneak peak.
(I - of course - can't post too much,
because the people who are receiving these actually read my blog.)

Don't you just LOVE this thimble fabric?
I think I got it on clearance at Jo-Ann's one day ... it was a good find.

Hmmm ... I wonder who THIS one is for??!!??

I'll definitely have to post full pictures after Christmas,
because these are really fun gifts ...
so much so that I had to make one for myself, too.

Another Project ...

My dad and his wife gave me the following quilt package for my birthday ... complete with the pattern and all the fabric needed to make the quilt.

Isn't that a fun pattern?
Originally, I think it was designed to be in brown & pink Civil War era fabrics,
but I like the fabrics Julie chose better ...

I'm thinking this will become a 4th of July - ish quilt to hang on my wall in the summer.

Now, if I could just find the time to start it!
