Mackenzie's Dress

GIVEAWAY BELOW ... Scroll down to the "Seeing Pink" post to enter!

I've been busy in my studio wrapping up some unfinished projects! It feels so good to finish things up, especially when they've been on my list for a while ... this dress is a perfect example.

My friend Amanda had a baby girl 4 months ago, and I'm just now finishing her gift!! (But don't worry ... I intentionally made an 18-month dress, so that I could be sure to have plenty of time to finish it before Mackenzie was big enough to wear it. Sneaky, huh?)

I took it with me on my recent trip to Ireland, and I smocked it on the plane. I did get tons of questions from my fellow passengers and the flight attendants ... but I'm used to that.

What do you think? I hope she likes it!

It is beautiful! Well worth the wait. I like that it is blue too (rather than pink or purple). Getting clothes that are bigger in size is perfect cuz most people like to buy baby outfits.
